Our Policy, Manual, set of Procedures and Forms lead compliance and underpins our 'aim to be accident free' and this is endorsed by OHSAS 18001:2007 accreditation and our system is approved by Abu Dhabi EHSMS with our Company being an approved entity.

Our OHS Management System provides clear direction and sets the required standards that are applied to planning and delivery of our projects. This ensures hazards are controlled and our risk reduced. We measure every part of our business and have effective leading and lagging indicators being feed into management reviews that ensure we have the best opportunity to prevent accidents and ensure we improve through effectively understanding our lessons learned.
We have an effective communication policy and our strategic HSE training calendar ensures every designation and level of management is keep up to date with our company systems and procedures.

In addition, AWATCO is also an ISO 9001:2004 accredited company and holds environmental management as a core responsibility. As an integral part of the business we have a dedicated Environmental and Sustainability teams who ensure at the design stage we fully understand our projects aspects and impacts. At the pre- commencement stage the Construction Environmental Management Plan is prepared to ensure each of our aspects is understood and our impacts reduced so far as is practicable.
